CPECC (China Petroleum Engineering & Construction Corporation)
Candidate will be reporting to the Lead Process Engineers and will be an integral member of a multi-discipline engineering team to support Operations, Maintenance & Engineering.
Candidate’s responsibilities shall include:
ü Execute various Management of Change (MoC) and Engineering Query (EQ) work scopes.
ü Preparation and self-check of all types of Process design deliverables such as P&IDs, PFDs, UFDs, and safeguarding diagrams.
ü Obtaining document numbers, check-in / check-out of native files for update, and appropriate use of revision codes.
ü Interdisciplinary check of all Process drawings.
ü Review of vendor drawings for integration of Equipment / Package into the P&IDs
ü To promote safe behaviour always.
ü May be required to perform site surveys and data-gathering exercises at various field locations.
ü To provide discipline-specific design and drafting services that meet the teams, and applicable statutory and regulatory, requirements.
ü To provide technical support to the site team during design, engineering, installation, and construction.
ü Liaise with the Process Engineers to identify deliverables issues to enable an accurate project plan identifying material lead time.
ü To ensure timely delivery of drawings and documents as per MOC / EQ schedule.
Skills and Experience:
ü At least 10 years of relevant process design experience.
ü Experience with Brownfield modifications is highly desirable.
ü Onshore Upstream Oil & Gas facilities experience is an advantage.
ü Diploma or HNC in Process engineering (or closely related subject).
ü Proficient in the use of AutoCAD 2D, Excel, Word and Visio.
ü Good understanding of the principles of document management and drawing revision control.
ü Familiarity with typical industry conventions for marking up drawings (additions/deletions / drafting notes) and back-drafting practices.
ü Experience in CAD generation of P&ID, PFDs, UFDs, safeguarding drawings.
ü Knowledge of 3D CAD tools is preferred.
ü Must be able to work to an agreed scope, budget, and schedule.
ü Experience in the preparation and coordination of Process design deliverables.
ü Compliance with industry, international, and client Codes and Standards.
ü Maintain suitable records of correspondence and work completed for reference and auditing purposes.
ü Knowledge of site-based project work involving field engineering and construction.
ü Experience working with multi-national and multi-cultural project teams is strongly preferred.
ü Thorough awareness of international codes and standards used for Process Design in Oil and Gas industry.
ü Good Oral and communication skills
