GOC Completion Engineer (E & I)

Role and responsibility synopsis

As part of the ROO Completions and Handover Group and reporting to the ROO Completions & Handover Team Lead, the following key roles and responsibilities should be fulfilled by the GOC Completions Engineer (E&I) The main functions will be documentation reviews, data verifications and data uploads, vendor site visits and assistance with Inspection activities.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Complete familiarity and experience in the use of a Completions System. Go Completions GoC preferred.

聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Strong Communication skills to present the GO Completions (GOC) System and Process to Contractors/Vendors and hold Completions and Handover聽 聽 聽 Progress meetings with Contractors.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Have a full understanding of Engineering drawings for all disciplines.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ability and experience to manage across all disciplines and diverse cultures.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Has previously held a lead role in Completions and Handovers.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Manage and support Discipline Inspectors on the Completions Process and ITR completion.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Management and co-ordination of GOC construction and inspection activities.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Fully conversant with the theory and implementation of Limits of System Handover (LOSH).

聽 聽 聽 聽聽Understanding of Instrument Equipment, Tubing connection systems and calibration methods.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Understanding of Hazardous Area Equipment and Protection Concepts.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Familiar with International Codes and Standards.

聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Commissioning and Operation experience is desirable.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 A Safety Leader

Criteria & Qualifications

Skills and Experience:

At least 10 years of relevant process design experience.

Experience with Brownfield modifications is highly desirable.

Onshore Upstream Oil & Gas facilities experience is an advantage.

Recognized Engineering Qualification

聽聽CompEx qualification are essential聽

Good understanding of the principles of document management and drawing revision control.

Knowledge of site-based project work involving field engineering and construction.

Experience working with multi-national and multi-cultural project teams is strongly preferred.

Good communication skills
