HR OFFICER

Role and responsibility synopsis

Role Synopsis

HR Officer is responsible for identifying, acquiring, assessing, and hiring responsible candidates to fill open positions within a company. Coordinate employee events, meetings, and training sessions as needed. Support HR projects and initiatives. Stay informed about relevant employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance. Assist in employee relation cases, including disciplinary, grievance, performance management, and probationary reviews.

 

Key Accountabilities

· Develop and manage recruitment strategies and processes, including job postings, resume screening, candidate interviews, and selection.
· Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulatory requirements, including hiring practices, equal opportunity, and safety
· Manage employee onboarding, including orientation, training, and initial performance evaluations
· Provide support to employees & Managers on all HR-related matters, including benefits, compensation, and employee relations
· Develop and implement HR policies and procedures, ensuring consistency and adherence to best practices.
· Maintain accurate personnel records, ensuring timely and accurate updates to employee data, benefits, and compensation.
· Manage employee performance, including coaching, counseling, and disciplinary actions when necessary.
· Facilitate employee development and training programs, including performance management, skills development, and career planning.

Criteria & Qualifications

Essential Education

·   Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

·  Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.

·   Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

·    Proven experience in HR management, including recruitment, employee relations, and performance management.

·    Knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including equal opportunity and workplace safety. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective HR Strategies and process.

·    Proficiency in HR software systems, including HRIS, payroll, and performance management tools

·    8-10 years of experience in HR management, with a focus on recruitment, employee relations, and performance management. 

·    Working experience in Oil & Gas Industries.

·    Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of initiative, accountability, and responsibility.
