PMC Engineering QA Coordinator

Role and responsibility synopsis

Candidate shall report to Projects Engineering Manager and will be an integral member of a multi-discipline Small Project Department.

Candidate’s responsibilities shall include:

✓ Work closely with Engineering Manager and Quality Lead to ensure that technical assurance and quality requirements and processes are adhered to on the project.
✓ Coordinating with the individuals involved in the technical and quality verifications so that they know the objectives, scope, schedule, of the verification activities.
Work with leadership personnel accountable and/or accountable management to develop the corrective actions for findings and assist in the identification of due dates and action owners through to closure.
Provide feedback to the project verification team leader on how the Assurance programme can be improved.
Reporting on the status of corrective actions, used as input to the findings KPIs and performance management.
Support the management with day-to-days tasks and activities as directed. 
✓ Provide technical support, as necessary, to Small Projects – Brownfield and Greenfield Development Projects, Construction & Commissioning.
✓ Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop a positive team working environment and communicate effectively with all levels of company personnel.
✓ Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks.
✓ Provide input to management of change process as required.
✓ Provide support as necessary to activity planning and progress reporting.
✓ Support all aspects of Engineering and Quality across the project and promote quality management and gathering feedback on performance to key stakeholders.

Criteria & Qualifications

✓ BSc/HND in Engineering, Quality management, project management or related discipline.
✓ The applicant must have a minimum of 10 years relevant experience in the oil and gas industry. Middle East experience (preferred).
✓ Proficient in the use of continuous improvement tools and techniques.
✓ Experience in Quality Management systems, internal audit framework, quality assurance, and quality control.
✓ Candidate to demonstrate experience of key engineering and quality processes used in the industry.
✓ Candidate to demonstrate strong communication skills both in written and spoken format.

Experience in multi-national projects with diverse nationalities and cultures.
