Project Manager

  • Department/Function: Project Management (PM) Team

  • Location: Rumaila, Basra IRAQ
  • % Rotation: 3 Months / 1 Month

Key Accountabilities

.Proven Track record of successful delivery or brownfield projects in the range ($5-100 Million) within allocated cost and schedule parameters. Responsible for meeting project objectives and goals and managing the overall team. Proven team leadership with a sound understanding of planning, budget management, monitoring, reporting, and liaising with client representative

Multidiscipline engineering team leadership with a strong personal ability in one relevant engineering discipline and a sound working knowledge of other relevant engineering disciplines, ability to engage, challenge, and direct engineering of all disciplines in order to achieve overall projects. Manage the technical assurance of all deliverables and ensure compliance with engineering standards, policies, and procedures

 

Criteria & Qualifications

Mandatory Requirments:

1.    Master or Bachelor’s degree with Honours in a relevant engineering discipline from a recognized institution

2.       Oil & Gas Industries experience as defined by the level of seniority discipline Team or SME Leadership Experience

3.       Proven HSSE Leadership

4.       Fluent in written and spoken in English

5.       Exemplary values and behaviours

6.       Strong working Knowledge of key industry codes and standards and their application to mature Operations and brownfield project

7.       Directs the development of, and monitors, summary-level project performance information used for tracking and predicting execution and directs       corrective action

8.       Recognized within industries for experience and accomplishment

9.       Head of the department or Project Leader for a Larger Project managing + 150 staff

 

Relevant Experience Requirments

–         20+ required years of relevant industry experience as defined by the level of seniority,

–         Professional accreditation from a recognized institute i.e., CEng (UK), P Eng (USA & Canada), Eur Ing (Europe or equivalent

–         This Experience is to be made up of the following areas Onshore

1.       Brownfield Services

2.       Operations and Maintenance

3.       Middle East

4.       JV exposure

5.       Iraq Rumaila Oil Field experience advantage & preferred
